How we recruit IT personnel for our clients?

First of all, we make sure we understand what needs and wishes our clients have for future IT employees in Cairo. In order to understand that we ask them to complete a skills matrix with their technical requirements for the candidates. Once we have reviewed the requirement, we will design a brief business plan which we will discuss with our clients, together with the skills matrix.

HOW DO WE FIND THE RIGHT CANDIDATES?
To start with we will search in our own database where we have many CV of talented IT candidates to see if we have a match which will fit into our clients business. We also advertise on digital media and in some cases we headhunt where we think it would be appropriate.
Based on the incoming applications and our headhunting, we normally hold interviews with up to 10 candidates, for each IT candidate we will find for our clients. When we interview the candidates we test their ability to communicate in English and check their international experiences as well as their personal qualities, as it is important to us to see how they will be able to maneuver in a collaboration with a European company.
We then take the candidates through a technical interview. Here we will test their technical qualifications in order to find out how skilled and experienced they are. We have an advanced scoring system where we are able to compare our assessment of the candidate with the business plan and the skills matrix the client made. Usually we are able to find 2-3 candidates per job which we believe will the best match. The IT candidate(s) the client chooses will be hired through us. Before presenting the candidates to our clients we have already agreed on the salary and working conditions with the candidate(s). If the client would like to recruit a team of several IT professionals we also make an assessment of which candidates will fit best together in a team.

HOW DOES THE CLIENT INTERVIEW THE CANIDATES?
Some of our clients decide to go to Cairo to meet the candidates personally and do the interviews at our office – this is also what we recommend as it enables our clients to experience the positive atmosphere and professional environment where their future IT staff will be working every day. But it is also possible to do the interviews via web conference. These web conference meetings will be held at our well-equipped meeting rooms at our office together with one of our recruiters.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CLIENT HAS DECIDED WHICH CANDIDATE(S) THEY WOULD LIKE TO HIRE?
Once the client has decided who their want us to hire, we determine the date of employment and design contracts. The contract will be signed by both the candidate and CrossWorkers. It is very important to us that the cooperation between our client and IT staff gets the best start. We are therefore happy to answer all the questions the client and other IT staff may have regarding working conditions, practical problems, Egyptian culture, communication etc.
We always recommend that the newly hired IT staff gets a small crash course in form of a welcome pack with description of the company, the organization, employees, customers together with a description of the tasks which the client would like the new employee to solve. crossworkers.dk
