Scandinavian managed recruitment
Through our well-tested Scandinavian managed recruitment process you get access to a large pool of Egyptian IT-talent – known for their good language skills and high cultural readiness. We will recruit, headhunt, screen, test and interview based on your specific requirements and in the end present 3-5 candidates for your final interview. Together we’ll find the right candidate for your business.
Preparing to relocate: The initial period
Your new employee initially works 4-6 months from our Scandinavian office in Cairo. This period allows for preparing to relocate, providing the employee with a Scandinavian cultural understanding, making short visits to your organization in Scandinavia and generally familiarizing himself with the job function and your organization. The initial time in Cairo will be on local terms, where CrossWorkers will handle all legal matters and overall management, so you can focus on building value with your employee.
Relocation and integration to Scandinavia
Within the agreed time frame, the relocation to Scandinavia will be carried out. CrossWorkers will handle all practical matters from work permits to housing. As this process has already started back in Cairo, your employee will “hit the ground running” and can effectively continue creating value for the company. Business plan & Skills Matrix
To find the best possible candidates for a job, we create a Business Plan for you. It contains a description of your company and the tasks at hand as well as a description of the technology in use and the identity of your company. In other words we try to grasp the holistic DNA of the specific customer and use this knowledge in our recruitment process.
You create a Skills Matrix that describes all the resources you are searching for, including the personal characteristics, technical skills and the level of the technical skills.
Recruitment & Interviews
Our recruitment team makes an HR call after having read the Business Plan and the Skills Matrix, and your wishes are getting a finetuning.
We search our comprehensive databases for suitable candidates, advertise on digital platforms and headhunt in cases, where we find it appropriate.
When we have found your possible candidates, they will then be exposed to our technical interview. Our recruitment team then selects 2 to 3 candidates per position for an interview where you, the candidate and CrossWorkers are present.
Preparing to relocate
After you have chosen your new employee, CrossWorkers starts handling the preparations for relocation, including the contract, social and medical insurance, transportation and management. The first 4 to 6 months your new employee works from our office in Cairo, where CrossWorkers also provides him or her with a Scandinavian cultural understanding and familiarizes him with your organization.

1. Do the candidates speak English?
Yes, they are fully capable of speaking English. Also, if required for the job, the Employee will start on Danish/Swedish/Finnish/Norwegian language training before actually relocating, so they quickly can gain basic Host Country language skills upon arrival.
2. What are my costs while my employee works in Egypt?
The Egyptian salary (which is on Egyptian terms) + a monthly fixed fee that covers the employer costs and insurance.
3. How long will it take before my new employee can work from our office?
Your employee will typically start the job within 4-6 months after the initial employment. It can also depend on the work permit and holidays are taken into consideration.
4. Do you handle everything related to the relocation?
Yes, we sort out everything related to immigration, registration, and onboarding in Scandinavia. The goal is to establish a soft landing, where your employee and any accompanying family feel welcomed from day one.
5. What are my obligations?
Your candidate will be hired under the same local terms and conditions as others in your company. We manage anything related to his or her arrival to your country. While in Egypt, s/he is hired by CrossWorkers, who have the entire employer responsibility until the employee is ready to relocate to Scandinavia.
