CLIENTS’ experience

How ProteQ created a stable workflow

When our developers work for us in a team, there is a larger understanding of the company, and always someone to help and find the best solution.
With our dedicated team we experience a much more stable platform.

– Ann Christina Sørensen, CEO at ProteQ

Customer case

ProteQ’s way to

make a dedicated team of developers

With a platform build mainly with hourly paid or project-based developers, it was hard for ProteQ to have a stable platform, and a lot of time was spent on finding new developers and brief them about the setup. When they stepped upon Crossworkers, it was possible to create a stable team of
IT developers.

The problem

For ProteQ it was hard to keep a stable workflow, and a lot of ressources where spent finding new developers and teaching them about the platform. With hourly-based developers they were also limited with only one persons skillset, and it would take longer to
create the best solutions.

The solution

A dedicated team only working for ProteQ was established through Crossworkers. They were qualified through a solid screening process, which is how the team still expands when needed. With a large team working for ProteQ on a daily basis, the company experience a great insight in the needs of the platform and general knowhow. With an
in-depth understanding of the company, this is an environment for creating the greatest solutions.

Proteq’s new setup

The company has a full team of developers working on their platform on a daily basis. The team is based in Cairo in the Crossworkers’ office.
If developers have any questions or need help with a solution, they can always find guidance from other team members. Furthermore, the staff at Crossworkers help out ProteQ when they need to expand the team with new employees.

MORE THAN AN
OUTSOURCING PARTNER

Recognizing the poor possibility to attract sufficiently qualified local web developers, when web development is not one’s core business, we struggled for several years to succeed in outsourcing our IT development tasks. Only when we became acquainted with CrossWorkers, and hired our own dedicated IT developers through them, our web development became seriously well under way.

CrossWorkers has a very well-functioning recruitment and screening process in Cairo. They easily understood what we wanted, and what European companies generally focus upon. I quickly got three skilled people employed in Cairo, who spoke English at high level and were willing to culturally adapt, so I could be sure they would come forward with whatever they couldn’t understand.

DILIGENT, CRITICAL AND
WITH PROFESSIONAL PRIDE

Cairo may not be the outsourcing site that you first think about – yet – but in fact it’s obvious if you put your prejudices aside. In Cairo, you are on the same timezone, and when there is a constant increase of highly qualified IT people introduced to the Egyptian market, the competition to predominate is very hard.

I am very excited about CrossWorker’s concept because, as a client, you have direct access and communication with the developers you choose to hire for the assignments, and therefore, become an integrated and dedicated part of your own company. It is safe to have a Danish managed company in Cairo, which is capable of attracting some really good candidates, and provides a highly technical and outstanding physical environment available to the developers, whom you employ.

– Rolf Mandrup

We typically start with a non-binding meeting, where we hear more about your outsourcing needs, and we explain to you CrossWorkers’ concept and way of working.
If you are directly appealed by our concept and we can meet your needs, we will prepare together an ROI calculation to see if it’s financially worthwhile to outsource your IT development, or parts of it to us in Cairo.
After the meeting, we present to you an offer for outsourcing based on the amount of resources you need, with the qualifications and profiles you have expressed. The offer is simple and illustrates both the costs of having the desired number of IT personnel employed in CrossWorkers, and the additional charges, such as, travel expenses and start-up of new employees.
Once you have decided to choose us as your outsourcing partner, we will prepare a draft contract, which also includes a data processing agreement. We fully comply with the GDPR provisions on personal data protection for data inside and outside of the EU – both legally and in practice – and this is also reflected in our contracts.
Once the contract is in place and signed by both parties, we can start recruiting Egyptian IT employees that best fit into your organization.
